When headed out to the Bay by boat you pass Great Oak Landing Marina, a full-service marina for sailboats and powerboats alike. While staying at Fairlee Point you can easily visit Eastern Neck National Wildlife Refuge.

Fairlee Creek is a brackish-water, tidal tributary of the Chesapeake Bay. The house has a great view of the mouth of Fairlee Creek, with Chesapeake Bay beyond.
